Travel
What do you need in travel writing?
Content that reveals the sites, sounds, smells, and feelings of places your customers want to visit. I took my first international trip at 14 and since then, have been traveling throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. I know what travelers like because I am one myself.
Unique experiences. I’m fluent in English and Tagalog, and have studied Spanish, German, French, Italian, and, currently, Japanese. That multi-lingual knowledge rewards me with cultural insights into people and places that monolingual writers can’t touch. Travelers will flock to you if you reward them with experiences they can’t get anywhere else.
Practical advice. Nobody wants to spend most of their travel time hassling with visas, unfamiliar bureaucracies, or inadequate transportation. I know all the tricks for bypassing the minutiae and enjoying what’s important in a destination.

Tech
What do you need in technology writing?
Accurate and functional information that delivers the company message. My documentation work with Unisys, Toshiba, and Canon allows me to comprehend technical projects thoroughly and efficiently.
Jargon-free simplicity for your target customers. I’ve taught programming classes to kids, adults, and seniors, so I know how to translate complex procedures into easy-to-understand language.
Compelling copy that generates leads and sales. As a playwright, I know how to create dramatic stories that captivates your audience.
Easy localization for customers who speak languages other than English. I’ve studied Filipino (Tagalog), Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Japanese, and have lived and traveled in different countries, so I know how to communicate with foreign-language speakers.
Together we can achieve these goals. See how in my samples below.

Real Estate
What kind of real estate content do you need?
Useful information to increase site visits and, eventually, your search rankings. Having bought and sold two homes of my own, I know first-hand what information buyers and sellers need.
Emotionally compelling stories to turn site visitors into customers. My playwriting background turns dry property descriptions into drama that will thrill your audience.
Accurate facts. Real estate laws and standards differ by location and my research skills ensure that any facts or figures relate to the location of your audience.
Automotive
How do you make automotive copy appealing to your target audience?
Add emotion. I can transform a dry list of specs into features and benefits that compel readers to buy. Because of my playwriting and theater background, I know how to make content come alive with storytelling and drama that stands out from your competitors.
Match the buyer. I’ve written thousands of car content pieces, which makes it easy for me to figure out what a driver of a specific model will find appealing. For example, a write-up for a family car can emphasize safety features while one for an off-road SUV can talk about terrain prowess.
Make it about something other than your vehicles. If your content consists solely of car descriptions, your audience will read once and have no reason to come back for more. But if you offer useful advice, such as how to prep your credit for a car loan or what to put in a car emergency kit, and your customers will return often to see what new information they can glean. I know what types of content to write to keep your buyers coming.
